- Searching by city/state/provider type will yield the most comprehensive list of results
- Try fewer filtering search criteria first before expanding your filtering criteria. For example, search by geographical filters first (city, state, and zip code) before adding other filters (name, provider type, etc)
- Searching by zip code will return results based on the radius you select. For example, if you search by zip code and select ‘within 30 miles’, you will be shown all providers that match your search criteria that are within 30 miles of that zip code.
- The ‘Specialty’ categorized in the database may differ from your understanding of the provider’s specialty. This is often the reason searching by ‘Specialty’ does not return the expected results. Try eliminating this as a search filter if your are experiencing difficulties with your results
